Contact Congress regarding health insurance problems

When we have problems with immigration, we contact our members of Congress.  When we have difficulties with Social Security, we contact our members of Congress.  I we need a passport expedited, we contact our members of Congress.  It's time that our members of Congress, who will soon be deciding the fate of health care reform for each of us, know the real extent of our health care mess.  They have completely hassle-free health insurance courtesy of the U.S. government.  Many of them may have forgotten what it is like to deal with the present day health insurance industry.

Let's remind them.  Frequently.

When your insurer denies perfectly legitimate claims, call your Congressperson.  When you spend your valuable time on the phone trying to get the services that you have already purchased from your insurance company, call your Congressperson.  Ask them to look into it. Give them the phone numbers and contact information.  Give them the group number and claim number.  Ask them to follow up and tell them that you expect a response.  We know that they won't comply, but a wave of this sort of thing might prompt some consideration of meaningful reform.
